The website for The Nest Palo Alto was developed to be fully accessible to all site visitors and is designed according to W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. It conforms to most priority checkpoints which entail some of the following elements: 

  • Navigation Shortcuts
    To navigate our website, use the tab key to explore the elements of each page and the enter key to activate a highlighted link. 
  • Structured, Semantic Markup 
    HTML heading tags are used to convey document structure. Navigation menus are tagged as HTML maps so that the menu title can be read, and the menu items are presented as a group. 
  • Images Visibility 
    All content images include descriptive ALT attributes.

The Nest is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests.  We want our guests with disabilities to have an experience that is equal to that offered to guests without disabilities.  As part of this, we offer accessible options within our property, including guest rooms and common spaces. 

  • Guest rooms 
    The Nest offers accessible guest rooms in our 54 room hotel, including 2 with ADA-compliant tubs, 1 with a roll-in shower, and a total of 3 rooms equipped with communication features.  For more information on the ADA rooms available, please check the “accommodations” portion of our site or call our front desk. 
     
  • Common spaces 
    Our common spaces are designed so that guests with disabilities can make the most of their stay.  Each of our hotel entrances meet or exceed the minimum widths required by law, and our corridors, ramps, and other public paths of travel are as well.  Moreover, we have accessible features at our:

    • Parking lot ( fully accessible spaces available)
